Live Music, etc. Hot Summer Nights, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
The Grand Strand heats up at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk on the South Carolina Coast with with "Hot Summer Nights” - the Boardwalk is beaming with excitement and FREE events this summer, through September 6.
The weekly events kick-off with the family-friendly Monday's Kids Carnival in Plyler Park– featuring kids bands, inflatables, face painting, caricature artist, games, stilt walking balloon artist and more. Sponsored by Ripley's Attractions. This event is held every Monday, June 8 through August 24 from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Live Musical Entertainment every night from June 9th - Sept 6th, on any of the 3 stages. Music lovers can enjoy the hottest bands in the area at the "I Love Sugar” stage in Plyler Park. The live concert series include local and regional rock, country, jazz, pop, reggae, R&B, Funk bands and more.
Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. will be full of live music on the "Oceanfront Stage” stage on 9th Avenue plus more music on the I Love Sugar Stage in Plyler Park.
End the each night with a big bang at the boardwalk for the highest Fireworks Show along the Grand Strand, held every Wednesday June 10 - August 26 off the 2nd Ave Pier, at 10:00 p.m.
Fridays June 12-26 and August 14-28 will be Boardwalk's Got Talent. I mix of talented performers competing for over $1000 in prizes for our top acts!
Fridays July 3-August 7 will be Battle of the Bands. National bands will be coming in from all over brought by ReverbNation, The Outlaw Nation, and Oceanfront Bar and Grill, The Bowery, Peaches Corner, SURGE magazine, Bargain Beachwear, Sam Ash Music. This will feature various vendors, The Budweiser Beer Garden and 5 great bands every Friday night battling it out. They will do their final battle on Oct 11 at the annual Oktoberfest for over $5000 in prize packages.
Each Sunday Celebration is includes inspirational music bringing in a variety of contemporary Christian/ Rock. The National Headliners will be on the Boardwalk Stage on the oceanfront pavilion site between 8th and 9th Ave N from June 21- July 26.
Then Sunday Celebrations continue over on the I Love Sugar Stage for the regional bands from August 2-Sept 6 from 7:00-10:00 p.m.
